There is a place where the sidewalk ends<\/em>
And before the street begins<\/em>
And there love and courage mends what hate creates<\/em>
And there hope and sacrifice defends what hate debates<\/em>
And there truth and honesty amends what hate narrates<\/em>
To cool the societies trends<\/em>

Let us leave this place where the smog blows black<\/em>
And dark news blinds our vision to no ends<\/em>
Past the divisions that causes odd beauties to grow<\/em>
We shall walk with a walk that is measured and slow<\/em>
And watch where the chalk-white arrows go,<\/em>
To the place where the sidewalk ends.<\/em>

I’ll take your hand, you’ll shall take mine.<\/em>
Together we’ll go away from this place and find,<\/em>
Where love and courage creates: unity.<\/em>
Where hope and sacrifice debates: hate.<\/em>
Where truth and honesty narrates: love.<\/em>
To the place where the sidewalk ends.<\/em>
